Riding Price List

Weekly private horsemanship lessons for ages 6 to adult and under 200 pounds.  Western and English riding available. We use almost all of our 47 acre ranch in lessons, pending skill level - including arena, riding ring, round pen, obstacle course, and pastures. Students will have homework assignments and periodic tests to ensure learning progression at their own pace.  Each one hour lesson is divided into approximately 30m of ground lesson and  30m riding.  Jeans, boots, and  helmet required.

One-hour guided ride around our 47 acre ranch amongst the trees and rolling terrain. Check out the obstacle course along the way and if you look closely you may spy a llama or a calf. The ride begins with a brief safety lesson in the riding ring.  We take pictures along the ride and send them to you digitally after the ride at no additional cost. 

Riders must be 8 years old and under 200 pounds and able to ride independently. No double riders. 

Horses are selected by body size and skill level. 

Designed for the younger child who may not be confident enough to ride alone, the discovery ride gives children a unique introduction to riding. A guide will walk along side of the horse, leading and controlling the horse, while your child gets to ride.  Stopping at several points of interest along the way, we take pictures to preserve the memory! At least one parent is required to walk with the guide for safety and to assist with the child if needed. Children 5y and up are eligible.
